The people nitpicking about the guy's use of a few relatively uncommon words are just looking for something to punch holes in the review. If the reviewer was hanging off of Prince's nutsack y'all would be lovin' it. Sure he could've simplified it but where's the fun it that? Perhaps he has a very good vocabulary and likes to flex his "muscles" every now and then.

At any rate, the review was fine with me. Mplsound (?) is garbage with MAYBE a redeemable idea or two in it. I agree that it seems even worse when packaged with Lotusflow3r which is only okay itself (much better than Planet Earth though). Unlike Emancipation, with which I could make 2 really good CDs from I would be hard-pressed to make a listenable EP with this 3 disc release. The musicianship on Lotus is good but unlike TRC, which it favors sonically, the inspiration just isn't there-- or at least I'm not hearing it. neutral

I've already commented on this but it's worth repeating: What do people expect a writer to use other than words to get his point across. It's not the writer's fault if his audience can't comprehend something written at a high school level. He's not making vocabulary up, he's using the tools specific for his craft. If you can't keep up with the review, grab a dictionary; hopefully you've at least got the alphabet down.

But as stated by the poster above, and, by myself earlier, if it had been a glowing review, everyone would be dancing round in rings, agreeing with what would surely be classified as an 'intelligent' review.
No hard feelings.
