from 1979 untill 1982(starting with 1999 tour) bobby z played live drums. he played live drums on parade tour with addition of electronic percussions. if you listen to atlanta 1980 boot you gonna hear that bobby was great in the pocket drummer. he didnt have a flashy style but for what prince was doing at the time bobby z was great. and while his drumming style was simple it had something "princley" in it. if you wanna judge bobby z listen to atlanta 1980 boot and we can talk  have it. listened it, then listened 2 john blackwell at the xenophobia celebration during sex machine and how he was doing different time measures all in his solo then bringing it back 2 the time measure of sex machine .. hmmm could bobby do that? get back at me man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81 | |

you sounded so sure of yourself but you are a bit off. Possessed the Rise and Fall of Prince was written by Alex Hahn not Per Neilson. And also Prince has worked with both Lisa and Wendy in the last 5 years so the whole disapproving of their homosexuality theory is bullshit.
