Prince related moments that you'll remember...... So, I'm just home from a night out, and whilst out (in the south side of Glasgow) I noticed a girl wearing a t-shirt/vest type thing with Prince on it.
I had to go and check it out, though looking like I do she wasn't too keen on such attention. 
What sort of Prince related moments have you had that made your day, night or whatever in the knowledge that more than one person out there appreciates the genius?? So look into the mirror, do u recognise some1? Is it who u always hoped u would become, when u were young? | |

I have my moments every morning at my job. Before we open up the store our manager puts on satellite radio on the funk channel. I hear Prince songs like Dirtymind, Uptown, The Times Get it up 7779311 Apollonia 6 Sex Shooter even Sheila E Shortberry Strawcake and a lot of other old school Prince. for me its always a "Prince is a genius" moment cuz if the satelite funk channel is playing so much of his old material then he is recognized as the king of funk in my eyes at least. I have a picture of my friend Jere and I, and Jere is wearing a "Sign 'o' the times," T-shirt. Jere worked 4 Prince on that tour...and I never go to go to the show due 2 other responsibilities.

I was working at a gym and they decided to have an 80's themed day, and me being the type who loves to dress up wild, I decided to do the purple and blk polka dot miniskirt thing, and threw my hair in a side pony, with a t shirt that tied in a knot on the side, it turned out I was the only one who dressed up, it didn't bother me tho, I love attention, LOL
anyways one of the trainers said "you look like you belong in a Prince video" it made my day  | |

I had on my Musicology T-shirt and some Jehovah witness saw me and said "You know Prince is a Jehovah's Witness", I swear I stopped and talked to them!  | |

Every time i'm in Manchester city and walk past the GMex centre (which is no longer used as a concert venue) It reminds me of my first Prince concert aged 10!Im now 24.My dad took me as i was a huge Prince fan even at that age and we had an amazing nite.It was March 1995..Gold Experience Tour..GMex...Manchester,England. We were on the front row and it was an amazing first concert experience which i will never forget! Ive still got the Prince symbol wristband that was put on us as we were going in2 the venue!
