Prince's "tracklisting" freestyle rap

After 30+ years of Prince music, there are bound to be similarities. I've pointed out other examples before (most notably the "gold chain/waist" lyric), but here's another one:

MPLSound marks the 4th time that Prince has released what I call his "tracklisting" rap on an album. Examples:

"Push" - Diamonds & Pearls (1991):

It's Thunder when I'm on the mic
Daddy Pop's in the house
And U're sure 2 like his Diamonds
Sure 2 like his Pearls
I'm good 2 Cream every boy and girl
Cuz I'm Strollin', steady, hip-hop, rock and rollin'
A Willing And Able Horny Pony
And I'm pumpin' 'em, I'm pumpin' 'em
I'm pump-pump-pump-pump-pumpin' 'em
From Pakistan 2 Poland straight into yo' town
Snatchin' up kiddies like a circus clown
Hahahaha...

"New Power Soul" - New Power Soul (1998):

Gemini rising on the 7th day
makin' Mad Sex, Until U're In My Arms, ok?
'cause When U Love Somebody like that, it's cool
u gots no need 4 the Shoo-Bed-Ooh-Bed-Ooh
The Good Life, yeah, we'll be livin'
Pushin' Up on every Freak This Side of heaven
Come On, come on, shake it, come on
u know i be's The One with the Funky Music, hon'
and i'm layin' phat claims 2 the booty
phat claims 2 the newpower booty
keepin' the crowd movin', y'all, is my one and only duty, ooh wee!
with the New Power Soul
right on

"Rave In2 The Joy Fantastic" - Rave In2 The Joy Fantastic (2000)

Rave In2 this Joy Fantastic
Moneyapolis, Beautiful Strange
Pump it up loud New York City
Headbobbin' in the Range
Baby Knows where to go
Tangerine, but I like your flow
Tonight we get tight, uhh
Until the morning light

"Ol' Skool Company" - MPLSound (2009)

See There Ain't Another Like Me in this Chocolate Box
U gonna Dance 4 Me baby if U Wanna C Me rock
Call the government man, tell him we got to be free
Valentina, 2night, I'm busy
So tell ur mama 77 Beverly Park, It gets Better With Time
We got the Ol' Skool Company dancin' in the dark
And I don't mind, I don't mind
Put this thing on repeat, go back to 1 and just move your feet
Tell your friends Prince and the MPLSound we can't be beat
Suckas!

A few interesting points: the D&P rap contains Horny Pony, which was removed and replaced with Gett Off. On the lyric book, Gett Off is superimposed over Horny Pony. On the NPS rap, it contains The Good Life - which is actually on Exodus. On the MPLSound rap, he includes 77 Beverly Park, which is actually on LotusFlow3r.

Some of the highlighted song titles have been ad-libbed to fit the flow of the song, such as Pushin' Up (Push It Up), Freak This Side (Freaks On This Side) and U Wanna C Me (U're Gonna C Me).

EDITED to add the Rave In2 portion.

Although it's probably not exactly the same as the above, but I'd like to mention 2 Whom It May Concern, too. I think that's a great "fuck you, I'm the best" mix of Love Symbol songs! nod

I like how he mentions the titles of his songs in the album within a song. That is cool.

just like some of the songs mentioned in these raps ended up being
taken off the albums at the last minute or ended up on other albums,
i always wonder if there are more unknown songs mentioned in those
raps.
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps
