I'm hoping someday and I got my fingers crossed for a proper, domestic Dvd release of the classic Sign O The Times film.I'm hoping too that Prince and the company who owns the movie will approve for a Special Edition release.Prince's best album and band.Period!I think the film woud look great on Blu Ray.Peace!

I totally agree, when he started wearing Versace and name brand(yet expensive name brand)it looses something, I love the looks from Puprle Rain - Lovesexy Sheena Easton was probably 1 of the only persons outside of Prince's camp that I enjoyed his collaboration: Sugar Walls, U Got the Look, she was even the (DaRe) inspiration behind La La La He He Hee U Got The Look © 1987 Paisley Park Records performed by Camille Here we are folks, the dream we all dream of Boy versus girl in the World Series of love Tell me, have U got the look? Wouldve been in my late teens when SOTT came out. And mann was it farken good!
I was a well established fan by then, and this was the best to date. Prince had never been to Australia at the time (and didnt till 92 ), so all we got to see was the movie in the cinemas. I went to see it on my own, and was the only one in the theatre watching it! Farken loved it, and saw it I dont know how many times after that. Wouldve prefered it live though. Oh yeh. I then painted my bedroom peach with the SOTT symbols in black on one side, and framed posters on the other. The chicks loved it. His best album, tour and period.

bittersweet.....it's a time when HIS music somehow seeped to a "space" in my soul. Blessing vs. curse?.....for tonight, in this unguarded moment, it's only for me to decide.

This is one of the main Prince albums that I really really really wish they'd digitally remaster. "Housequake" just doesn't have the same PUNCH that I seem to remember that it had back in the day, not compared to tracks produced today anyway. I would re-purchase his entire catalog (from The 80's through the mid 90's) if they would digitally remaster it from the master tapes. Guess I shouldn't be holding my breath, eh?

Track down DJ Foefur's remaster and you'll be amazed by what he was able to do with this album! The sound is incredible and, yes, "Housequake" KNOCKS on Foefur's release.

Prince's best image ever overall between his stage set and the themes of that album. I wish i didn't take that era for granted. he was on top of his game musically and performance wise. Prince still chose the wrong singles. I always thought ICNTTPOYM should've been the follow up single 2 Sign o' the times.. oh well. BOB4theFUNK
