Just made a mix-up of Lotus and MPLsound... Finally managed to get my stupid computer to download the two new albums and I've started to muck around with the tracklistings of both of them.
I truly believe that the tracklist I've come up with presents the best coherent album of Prince music since Lovesexy (even though I've just made it up and it wasn't released this way...) From The Lotus Boom Valentina Wall of Berlin Cholcolate Box The Morning After Dance 4 Me Dreamer Colonised Mind 4 Ever $ Love Like Jazz No More Candy 4 U Back 2 The Lotus If this came out as an album, in this configuration, I think it would be hailed as a masterpiece. His new work has an urgency and depth that has been absent for years. I'm not criticising the way he's released these songs (by seperating them into two records) I'm just acknowledging how good most of the songs are and presenting them in a way that I think makes them shine more.

Ummm...no...it's missing Crimson and Clover and Feel Better, Feel Good, Feel Wonderful, two of the better tracks, imo. "Just like the sun, the Rainbow Children rise."

Haven't yet got Crimson and Clover as I only have the download, not the physical release, (I live in the UK and not in London). I love his version of this song and will include it after "Boom" in my ideal, perfect configuration. I'm not yeat convinced by "Feel Better..." but will give it a few more listens!
