Whas Prince ever Covered:3rd rock from the Sun? I'd loved to hear his version! We all want a big hit again because

Stevie Ray Vaughan did a great cover of it. Perhaps you'll get your wish. He's breaking out the Henfrix sound alot more of late. Didn't he do 'Spanish castle magic' live recently? Also, He showcased Yonnet playing 'Little Wing' on his harmonica. Not to mention all the nods to the great guitar man on Lotusflower. I enjoyed the cover of Voodoo Chile he did at paisley park in the 90's. I read somewhere that he has a version of 'purple haze' locked up in his vault. Can';t remember where i heard that. Also on 'cyber single' he is heard to say 'Purple haze, jesus save'. this is in reference to a verse which was cut from jimi's song upon chas chandlers recommendation. Prince must have done some reading on Jimi. | |
