Curious Question for Prince or anyone here who may have the answer.. I am listening to The Ultimate Experience 'extended version' songs and wondered, did Prince take the album versions then extend them in the studio or are the 'extended versions' the original and then get edited to put on the album? Does this question make sense? Thanx to anyone who can answer it... 'Love will be your Soldier' - Nikka Costa

Eye'm almost certain Prince's xtended versions r the originals, cing how the shorter songs always fade out. Bsides, eye read in an interview with Prince in which he complained about having his songs cut so much. | |

Thank you for your answer, I don't know why the question just occurred to me On a personal level I thought that may have been the case. 'Love will be your Soldier' - Nikka Costa
