Nope! Prince's house had a rear lake view with the back having a balcony and it wasn't that funny looking. Prince's Sarah

People in that clip getting all bent out of shape because someone dared to paint their house in beautiful, bright, coordinated colors. People need to get a life! I wonder if that house owners' race was an issue (as in: If it was different from the race of the people that were complaining). Because I find it hard to believe that such beautiful colors alone would be enough to get the complainers so fired up (it's not like the house was run-down, dirty, or unkempt).

Well, you would be wrong. House colors are frequently the subject of disagreement among neighbors (some associations actually have restrictions on what colors you can paint your house - along with what kind of mailbox you can have and any number of other things). Race has nothing to do with it - and I have no idea why people always have to bring that up. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I think that's unfortunate, seems to me if you own a house (surrounded by as much property) you aught to be able to paint it whatever color you'd like. Though I have known of association restrictions, and your point is well taken.
