Prince In Today's Newspaper Any publicity is good publicity right?? This was in today's "U" section of the LA Daily News (12/9/02). I almost wet my pants thinking about how Prince raves about how curtious the Japanese are and reading this!! (Although I'm sure it's BS.)
Chris G. PURPLE CRUSH Prince is beefing up security for his Dec. 15 show at Las Vegas' Aladdin Hotel because of a recent scare in Japan. At the afterparty in Tokyo for his One Nite Alone world tour, the Purple One was surrounded by a mob of hundreds who closed in on him at the Two Faces nightclub. His outnumbered bodyguards stacked up sofas as a barrier to keep the crowd from reaching the superstar -- but it didn't work. The frenzied fans broke throught, and Prince was reduced to dashing out through the kitchen. | |
