Prince on tonight show (again) Well they are playing repeats today and tommorow of Prince promoting his new cd (well here in Hawaii, check you local listing). Anyway where is Prince to go after Leno leaves the tonight show. Prince mentioned he doesn't like Letterman and hasn't been on since choas and disorder. Conan???? Jimmy Fallon or Kimmell??? Just can't picture that. Oh well maybe no more late night, just the today show I guess.

That wouldn't surprise me - Prince not liking Dave, that is. • Did you first think Prince was gay? •
Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.

Where did you see Prince say that? When he was talking about no doubt. Prince mentioned that there is a talk show host who while an artist is performing on his show would rather smoke a cigar then watch them perform. Gwen jump on Dave's table and Prince really like that. I guess this was mentioned during Rave unto the joy fantastic.

Maby the African American Recording Artists should start their own show. Prince could be the first guest. "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

That wouldn't surprise me - Prince not liking Dave, that is. I can see it too. Prince only likes to be interviewed by incompetent kiss-asses.

That wouldn't surprise me - Prince not liking Dave, that is. i remember when Prince performed Dolphin from the then unreleased TGE...dave said something like "here to perform a new song from his unreleased album, which of course makes perfect sense...0+(-> " it was kinda funny though

See Prince didn't want to talk to Dave. He quickly went backstage, but that was when he still wasn't talking much, now he has done plenty of INTERVIEWS. I read he just doesn't wanna go on a show when he doesn't know what will be asked. He's very Sensitive and still being MISQUOTED MUST MAKE HIM LEARY ONCE AGAIN OF JOURNALISTS.

Umm, actually...Dave doesn't "interview" 99% of the musicians that appear on his show (unless they're HOT chicks, someone he admires or there to just be interviewed). Also, Dave (like Jay, Conan and most talk shows worth going on) conduct something called "pre-interviews" with the artist/actor/whatever and/or their agent before the show - going over what'll be asked, what can't be asked, etc..
And, yeah, it must be SO TERRIBLE when journalists MISQUOTE him due to all the hoops he makes them jump through to get an interview (ie no pens, papers, tape recorder, crayons, charcoal, etc..). Mr. Sensitive only has himself to blame. But wait...that's just him being oh so mysterious.... • Did you first think Prince was gay? •

As I recall, Letterman also joked about the end of Dolphin asking something like "Is he through?" or "Is he okay?" I can't imagine that Prince would appreciate that particular instance of Letterman's often amusing sarcasm. Never trust anything spoken in the presence of an erection.

You mean immediately after P mimicked getting shot in the head and was then dragged off by a bodyguard?
Yeah, I don't know why Dave wouldn't appreciate that exhibition of art on his stage. Heck, he's never reacted that way after all the times that Barbara Streisand has done the exact. same. thing. on his show... [Edited 4/8/09 11:06am] • Did you first think Prince was gay? •

I'd like to see him on Fallon, not that I enjoy Fallon all that much but Quest has already played drums for P before and they have a good relationship. He wouldn't have to bring the band with him since the Roots could handle backing him up well.
