It will be interesting to see if Tavis questions Prince on the meaning of some of the lyrics in his songs like "Colonized Mind", "Old Skool Company" and "Dreamer", although it would be nice also, if he performed some of his songs from the new cd, but an interview in itself would be nice. | |

Back in the day, I used to post minor mistakes in my posts on purpose, hoping Bart Van Halen would select me to correct. After he finally responded to one, I felt like I accomplished something, and quit doing it. Now I'm just waiting for somebody to quote the song "Anna Stasia," by Prince Roger Nelson. Aren't those about the two dumbest mistakes anyone could make about Prince? How would Bart correct me? Anna Statsia is a Disney Movie, Anna Stesia is a Prince song... and the "Roger," in Prince Rogers Nelson is plural. As far as the argument about airplay? Nobody over 50 gets on Top 40 radio anymore. Sure a Madonna song or two may creep in, but if you're not Lil Wayne, Lil Flip Phone, Lil Kim, Lil Bow Wow, Lil (Insert Name here)...you don't get played. By the way Bart, by letting on to fact that I posted mistakes on purpose, and then hoping that you would correct them... is mean. I'm sorry. | |
