Yea Have it here too along with the Maxi promo as well. For me its a bit too much jazzy house but the B sides are worth having for your collection at least. Check out Amazon.Com.

UK 12", although the mixes have different names they are the same mixes on the US 12": US 12" promo includes Thrust dub and Rosie's dub not on any other record: Original 12" release, sent out to DJ's on his birthday. One sided promo. this mix is called "approx: damn near 10 mins". It's longer than the official mix (this picture is from my camera phone and not my digital camera): Here's my copy of the VHS. Is this a different cover or did the other photo in this thread just cut the black part off?: [Edited 4/7/09 9:53am] Thanks for posting the pics. I've never seen the original 12" cover before. Is this one of the rarest Prince 12" in your collection?

The rarest is "51 hours", then the purple vinyl of "Black sweat", the yellow vinyl of "Sexy MF" (unfortunately it's just the record with none of the fun stuff that came with it), The UK 12" promo of "Pope (12" remix"). There's more but those were some of the most expensive ones. Making love and music are the only things worth fighting for.

grooving 2 the gangster grooving 2 the gangster man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Have you ever listened to it or do you keep it in mint (unused) condition? Personally I'd be afraid to put a needle on the disc in case it got scratched!

I played it once. I recorded it straight to a CD so I wouldn't have to play it again I have Technics 1200 turntables which are top of the line. I wasn't scared to play it on that. If all I had was my old Mickey Mouse turntable I may not have been so brave!
I've posted this many times before but here is an article from Goldmine that I and other members of the former HQ were interview for: http://www.isleofwrite.co...eHours.pdf [Edited 4/7/09 17:05pm] Making love and music are the only things worth fighting for.

And gett off. There's also a video maxi single with videos to most all those tracks in some fashion. And Prince on roller skates or in a bikini doing push ups is worth some good laughs and worth the price.

Roller skates I could deal with, but a bikini with suspenders was too much, even in 1991/2. I did like all the home movie stuff though. I always loved his little jig during "Gansta Glam" in Paisley Park, during "groovin' to the gansta, groove-groove-groovin' to the gansta..."
