Okay, call me old fashioned but I've waited until I could buy a physical version of the album to hear it, so I'm just wondering if any of you UK fans know if HMV are stocking it in-store or is it just on their website?

There are a couple of topics on this. I believe that the HMV release has been pushed back to 13th April (Easter monday). I gave up waiting and ordered from EBay last week.

Like you, I always prefare to listen to the physical copy of an album (old school rules)

I dunno about in store but I can tell u it won't b there on monday, I recieved an e-mail from them on friday telling me that the UK release date had been changed until the 13th April, I reckon it'll b in the store though on that date.

What a nightmare.

It's been nearly two weeks since it was released in the US.... what the hell is taking so long?

I'm reluctant to buy it off eBay. By the time it arrives from the States it may be available in the UK....

I rung HMV and they said they WON'T be stocking it tomorrow morning but perhaps later on in the week.

Why is nothing ever easy with Prince???

HMV are quoting a price of £29.99 for the set (an absolute rip off). Ebay will be kinder on your pocket

I would rather pay the extra if it meant getting it sooner (although I agree I'm being ripped-off). I would've ordered from ebay last week though if I knew that it wasn't going to be in-stores in HMV for yet another week...

Has yours arrived from the States yet?

I really cannot wait! I've heard so many good things about the album and not heard hardly any tracks as I haven't subscribed to the website. I'm seriously gonna shriek like a child when it arrives!

this is a complete screwup by the prince finance department. the album was out in the US and downloadable at the same time. I couldnt wait so I downloaded it from lotusflow3r, but of course, the day it comes out it is illegally placed onto file sharing sites and those that cannot afford the 77USD and are so deperate they cannot wait for the new CD will get it illegally. Im not saying that illegal file sharing is a good thing, but effectively what Prince has done by releasing it in the US first and then making the rest of the world wait so long for it is substantially decreasing his non-US sales. It is a very poor move from his part and he will lose a hell of a lot of $$$ in sales. The music should have come out on the same day around the world. Oh well, its not my money.

If they are still not in the know then i expect every to grab Ebay or Amazon copies...

Very true....kind of silly as Target and Amazon work together in the US so Prince's People could have brokered a deal for the Rest of the World with Amazon and Target get a small middleman fee....silly really...

Hopefully everyone who has ordered their copy will recieve them in the next few days. Looks like HMV have received their stock in the UK.
