This Version of So Good is one they released in the USA as u can see it was on MTV I had a bit of a croupie crush on the lead singer and songwriter Paul Gray9 which was odd cause Im not really attracted to blondes ) but I've got to say Paul should never be allowed to dance  The blonde guy on Guitar is his brother Mark the Dark hair guy is Chris Williams and the drummer was know as SweeneyPRINCE IS WATCHING U " When an Artist Creates, whatever they create belongs to society"

i remember liking them in my younger days in Oz, great fun - loads of funk and electric guitar - but I always thought they were a poor replica of Prince, now it seems Prince is a poor replica of Wa Wa Nee - although I dount Prince even knows who they are.Australian Funk you gotta love it. | |

There are so many songs out there that it now would seem hard to avoid sounding like SOME other song.
When I have more time I will get into the discussion about how many of the songs on new cds sound like older Prince works-I notice this more than him sounding like others. | |

It happens with alot of songs past and Present throughout the music world and no one borrowed anything from anyone  It was a good joke, as I was making fun of Prince's height. I just played both together and i can safely say that its pretty much the same thing note for note.. I wonder if prince hunts down old songs from relatively obscure bands for his inspiration, thinking that he can get away with some plaigiarism.
I read somewhere a couple of years ago that every single note combination on songs have been used, so from now on every song released is going to resemble another. From hearing this i can believe it!! | |

But people have been stealing licks for years. Oasis/Led Zepplin (wasn't it?) Prince/whoever/jimi/sly/james/etc. Beyond that riff, there's little comparison between those two tracks, IMO. Interesting thought though, no doubt. | |
