One doesn't have to be a member of a group to create something that group holds dear. Diana Ross and Cher, for example, aren't gay either, but many gay guys LOVE their stuff. I listened to that song again and forgot this verse
"For the boys I would pull down my assless pants and then I'd do a sexy dance I know that sex with a dude is wrong but it really inflates my big thick shlong" (or it may be dong, my record is old and scratchy). that sounds pretty revealing. Also, don't forget about : "tonight I'm a star, and you're the big dipper" (from GLAM SLAM '91) that comment was so gay that he switched it on Gett Off! Prince can be such a diva sometimes, and then suddenly he'll become Mr. Testosterone. It's not surprising that he has a gay following. I love both sides of him.
