Shoulda put 'Wanna Be Your Lover' by Millie Jackson and Erotic City by George Clinton there. The only 2 I ever dug.

TLC, Ginuwine and Mariah Carey????
Are u f'in kiddin me?? This guy obviously doesn't know what he's talking about. What happened to the Hindu Love Gods version of Raspberry Beret? And Sex Mob's "Sign O' The Times"? And yes, Clinton's Erotic City is superior to most on that list. [Edited 4/4/09 11:41am]

I've seen that list. Not so good.
Tom Jones? C'mon. Foo Fighters' Darling Nikki? The Foos are great, but their studio version of this song is lackluster at best. They've covered it live much better. Any list with the Dump album "Skinny Motherfucker With The High Voice" not included, isn't trying hard enough. TLC's If I Was Your Girlfriend and Semisonic's Erotic City are stellar renditions, and belong on this list. There are literally hundreds of released Prince covers out there, many of them very cool. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

In my opinion it´s an unoriginal, uninspired coverlist.
There are many great covers around & just to name a few: Dog Almighty - Sexy MF Audrey Horne - Cross, The Joacim Lund - Sign O´ The Times Ornand Altenburg - Girls And Boys Derailers - Raspberry Beret Living Colour - 17 Days The Dynamics - Girls And Boys Blue States - Alphabet St Hefner - Controversy But in the end, it´s just all down to personal taste ..... ![]()

Simple, watch this
If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.
