Lost Highway is a great movie, Mulholland Drive is a "let's pull another Lost Highway and totally suck at it" movie. And even those who supposedly 'got it' (after multiple viewings, with loads of if, then, else, maybe's) rn't gonna tell me Mulhulland Dr. was in the same league as Lost Highway. "It's better 2 B hated 4 what U R than 2 B loved 4 what U R not."

Also a friend of mine told me the end of Lost Highway could be an metaphore to film the hero's sentence on the electric chair (the road, the green mile or/and the road to up above or the unknown).
