Are Prince videos allowed on YouTube again, I asked because i just watched Crimson & Clover and Chocolate Box in full...

Check and see what is Youtube's policy on putting up vids on their site.

I'm really not afraid of the Webshariff, I've told him/her to sue me plenty of times, I guess he doesn't want to... Really though, what's the point of making videos if no one is going to see them? I missed out on so many old school vids and I cant see them... I'm waiting for a DVD or somthing....

as far as i know, prince vids are still verboten on youtube, though maybe that's not at the front of his causes right now.

Just watched on youtube Crimson and Clover video and performances of Dreamer and Feel Better Feel Good Feel Wonderful on Jay Leno!! Awesome vids!! I hope they stay up 4 awhile!

it is interesting which clips the prince camp decide to leave on youtube and i bet they leave the leno performances on a little while to promote the new release

Question: had no one started this thread referencing those specific videos on Youtube, do people honestly think those videos would stay up any longer or not get noticed by the Purple Powers That Be, regardless? I mean, come on. With the close eye Prince's people keep on YouTube, it's not as if they wouldn't have discovered these two videos soon anyway....all you had to do was a VERY GENERAL SEARCH and they came up.

So all this "Oh shhhh don't say anything" is kind of silly, imo, at least where these two videos are concerned. I could see the argument if the video was uploaded with some attempt at making the vid difficult to find or to come across, but when the video is easily searchable and therefore easy to find I don't think keeping mum here about it here would extend the length of time the video remains up and accessible.

Prince is allowing these videos and performances to run on Youtube for a certain amount of time, only for promotion. He's very aware of this and trust me, give it a few more weeks and their POOF!!!
