Come on now...dontcha all got better things to worry about? obviously this is how we've chosen to spend our time. just as you've chosen to spend your time asking us if we don't have anything better to do. i know you're just being friendly but seriously, why so literal minded? we're all fans of prince. sometimes that includes observing that he seems to be shooting himself in the foot. because, you know, he has been known to do that sort of thing. it doesn't mean we hate him. even if we did hate prince, the man, it's his music that is the point of interest binding us all together. we can observe that he seems to be a crank while still being fans of his music. or while still being fans of his old music. 
the guy is a genius and there is a lot to talk about. you don't think his faults make him even more interesting? it would be pretty boring if he were perfect. so yes, his weird quirks only enrich the experience. and as fans, we talk about them! Ahem....I see. Please tell me where I said anything about anyone hating Prince? And when did I say Prince was perfect? He's always marched to the beat of his own twisted little Purple drummer. That's a huge part of what makes him who he is. There will be times when this pleases the fans, and times when it pisses them off. And it's been this way his whole career. Why are people now suddenly thinking somethings changed or he's "losing it." People have been saying that about the man for decades and guess what - he's still releasing strong new music that is hitting the upper reaches of the album charts. * * *
