As one who used to be a quite active fan (fam, whatever...), if you "know someone who knows someone", you tend to keep it quiet. Because everyone and their cousin's-sister's-brother starts to call you and ask you to get them in to concerts, get them into Prince's house, "come on, hook a brotha up!" 
It becomes quite aggravating. So if someone seems to be a reliable source of info, yet they want to retain their anononimity, just say Thank You. Ro
