Suggest a Prince Mix CD for a fan of Indie Rock

Have this friend who is into Indie rock sounds like MGMT, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and so forth. Do we automatically give them Dirty Mind and Controversy, or something else?

If they just like indie rock as a style, they probably won't like Prince. If they like indie rock because it's unconventional, then they'll like Prince.

The Cross
I Could Never Take the Place (I heard the replacements cover this)
Joy In repetition
Anastesia

are some songs my indie friends like
