My Dream Lotusflow3r Tour Since it's April fools day, I wanted to create a scenario of the perfect way for Prince to annonce his tour for the Lotusflow3r 3 cd set. Others feel free to post your dream tour. Enjoy ![]() PRINCE PLANS TO ANNOUNCE LOTUSFLOW3R “TRIPLE THREAT” U.S. TOUR By Lisa Claraborne Wednesday, April 01, 2009 9:13am EDT Prince his royal badness has still got it! On Sunday March 29th, Prince released his new 3 CD set Lotusflow3r, Mplsound and Elixer, an album Prince produced for his new female protégé Bria Valente. To commemorate its release, he performed an unprecedented three full-length shows at three different venues in LA on March 28th, all in one night. Pretty impressive! As expected, all three of his Los Angeles Concerts sold out in a matter of minutes. In true Prince fashion, the surprises keep on coming! Today April 1st 2009, Prince plans to officially announce his Lotusflow3r “Triple Threat” U.S. Tour at 7:07pm PST live on his new website lotusflow3r.com. The tour will follow the structure of the 3 performances Prince performed at LA Live, the Conga Room, and Club Nokia, which correlated with his three albums Lotusflow3r, Mplsound and Elixer. The first concert will be, primarily old school funk and R&B (Mplsound), the second will be heavily rock oriented (Lotusflow3r), and the 3rd a smooth jazz vibe (Elixer). The first stop on his tour schedule is the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN where he will be performing 3 consecutive nights. Why Minneapolis you say? Well since Prince has deemed the Lotusflow3r 3 CD set as “getting back to his musical roots”, it seemed fitting to kick off this tour where his musical career started. Tickets will go on sale starting July 7th 2009 so make sure to save the date! You can purchase all three new albums only in Target stores and on Target.com for $11.98. You can also download the albums for free on lotusflow3r.com as part of an annual membership fee of $77. The new website offers fans exclusive content including digital downloads, concert tickets; sneak peeks at upcoming events; live concert footage; exclusive imagery from past albums and other exclusive photos for an annual membership fee of $77 [Edited 4/1/09 9:55am] follow me on twitter - Lovenharmony1 aka @DAPfan2c

edit [Edited 4/1/09 9:57am] I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Do you know what, I 100% believe that the structure of the US tour will be exactly in this format. Can you imagine how amazing a P gig with 3 clear geners will be [Rock set, Funky jam set and ballads set]+ it'll allow him much freedom to vary the set lists every night.
