"LOTUSFLOWER" is Prince's best work since " THE RAINBOW CHILDREN"- FAN REVIEW

Hello Everyone:
After listening to "LOTUSFLOWER" approx 10 times already this week I can easily say that this is Prince's best work since 2001's "RAINBOW CHILDREN"
This album is an instant classic. Let us forget for a moment that the price value of this 3 cd opus is $11.98 exclusively over at all TARGET outlets, but put all of the focus on the content of "LOTUS FLOWER" on it's own.
Songs like "FROM THE LOTUS," " BOOM," " CRIMSON AND CLOVER," " 4EVER,"
" COLONIZED MIND," " WALL OF BERLIN," and the highly energized Highlight guitar track "DREAMER," takes Prince and all of his listeners way beyond the reaches of ROCK HEAVEN. This cd alone features some of Prince's greatest guitar work ever.
For those who forget just how amazing he truly is on the guitar you better go out and take a listen to this one, because it will take you back to the days of the original sound of " THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE." I know that if JIMI was with us to hear this one he would have been proud.
One of the things that I really enjoyed while listening to "LOTUSFLOWER" was it's production value. The textures of these songs reminds me of how Prince recorded the "RAINBOW CHILDREN." From the drum tracks, to the bass tracks, to the guitar tracks you can easily hear the influence. This album needs to be heard by everyone, not only by his true die hard fans, but especially those that never took a fancy to the Purple Genius in the past as they will be pleasently pleased. Prince is a true master craftsman. Once again everyone Prince delivers the goods as always.
As far as the second Prince album in this collection "MPLS SOUND," and the third cd "ELIXER," by BRIA VALENTE it is all a bonus of love and magic. These albums feature so so many great tunes like Bria's "HERE I COME," " ALL THIS LOVE," and "ANOTHER BOY," have all the hooks that radio should be supporting these days. She can sing as good as Sade as we get taken on a journey very similar to "LOVE DELUXE" from 1992.
"MPLS SOUND" features Prince taking us back to those magical years of the 1980's in where he took us through "1999," " PURPLE RAIN," " AROUND THE WORLD IN A DAY," and " SIGN O THE TIMES." Throughout this 9 track experimental funk classic you will hear many many familiar drum beats from CHRISTMAS PAST all incorporated with updated vibes and sounds that bring Prince into 2009. Some of Prince's best on this collection are," CHOCOLATE BOX," " OLD SCHOOL COMANY," and " VALENTINA."
Prince even sends a message those those so called "HATERS ON THE INTERNET," with his album closer," NO MORE CANDY FOR U." This reminds me a bit of Prince's closer " JACK U OFF," from 1981's Controversy. Just take a good hard listen to Prince's guitar on this one. Run out and get this 3 cd set as it is truly a gem to have and will go down as including some of Prince's best recorded songs ever.
Thank You.....Nicky Tuzio

It's his best album since The Gold Experience. MPL Sound, too.

And that, folks, is NOT an April Fool's joke. cool

I was thinking the same

Not Minneapolis Sound or Elixer

But Lotus Flow3r feels similar to Rainbow Children

It could have easily been the following album 2 Rainbow Children

The only thing that messed up Rainbow Children was the enoying deep voice

I'll triple that comment. TRC is virtually unlistenable.
