Why is the Lotusflow3r not getting very stellar reviews by the music media?

Everybody seems to be quite happy, if not ecstatic with the set here.

It bothers me that it seems that all the critics are in love with the new U2

album, but are at times cruel when reviewing parts of Lotusflow3r. And I don't

just mean the Elixer part.

U2 are a massive band, who could get away with having an album based on the sounds of ejaculation and dry farts, coz the media knows the masses want to hear this. Coldplay won grammy awards this year, and Michael jackson managed to stand for 3 minutes or so without an oxygen tent and we wont get in to the madonna being the "dress your 5 yr old like a whore" pantomine. It is simple, Prince is crap, who wants in this day and age to see someone who actually can play an instrument, the masses have guiter hero and karaoke which is much more fun, and music is merely a noise in the background that may drown out my super vocal chords, Yes, I love the pussy cat girls, they make real music, songs that touch me inside and Britney Spears, I could write a book about her influence, a role model, need i say anymore, NO, i dont think so. Dont come to this site to say prince is not getting reviews, its fucking obvious that he is useless

Probably because some people are intimidated by Prince's musical talent...and when these people have the opportunity 2 underestimate him...they do.

i am astounded at the reviews, always seems to be way i.e. fans love it = critics hate it!.
With respect to so called critics look at what passes for music, the car wreck that is Britney is celebrated , the incredibly dull Kings of Leon are lauded as the new big thing and don't even get me started on all that BS R&B that spews forth form the USA. The CD needs to be listened to carefully, the lyrics digetsed, the music felt etc.
You will NOT find a CD as adventurous and as creative or original as this in the whole of 2009. Seriously, the critix can all go fuck themselves, I love this CD and it's easily in my top all time 5 P albums.

lotusflow3r is all over the place musically

scaled down to 1/3 of the tracks i would be a solid Prince effort but nothing compared to his past

U2 happens to have a great new record and Kings of Leon have been great but are getting a lot of attention for their first hit record - which also happens to be not as good as their past stuff

just because he writes a new song does not mean the public should hear it and it appears he has nobody around him telling him this
