Private Joy and Valentina, book ends? Dreamer, Zannalee-ish?

Hey orgers, did Prince sample a part of Private Joy in Valentina? And doesn't Dreamer sound a bit Zannalee-ish? Your thoughts...

I think Dreamer sounds more like voodo child slight return and the intro reminds me of the intro to this bootsy song a bit http://www.youtube.com/wa..._cAOmajPN8 , you are probably just picking up on the pentatonic blues style with both songs

Dreamer is too "polished" to be Hendrix-like.

It's not criticism of either (musically).
