There is no such thing as a secret track!

Whenever you put a CD in a player, it tells you all the tracks that are there.

This has always bugged me. There's no such thing as a "secret", "bonus" or "hidden" track on a CD.

Would you prefer Secret song? hehe
Prince doesn't normally do hidden tracks but he should, I feel a little disappointed when it gets to the end of the last song and stops!

I think you're splitting hairs a wee bit thin there, but you've also discounted hidden tracks that are actually tacked on to the end of another. Less common perhaps, but I have a few CDs that do this. Additionally, for a while people used to hide tracks before track 1, so that you had to press play and then re-wind to get to it. Not all CD players can do that though, so I guess its a practice that's faded away. But to sum up: yes, there's such a thing a secret track.

Not true - I've got at least two CDs where there are songs hidden before the first track, and to hear then you have to hold down the "rewind" button on the CD player as their timecode says they begin at say -4 minutes. (Albums in question for those who may wish to try are "1977" by Ash, and "White Ladder" by David Gray).

On the Lotusflow3r download version The morning after is the replacement for Crimsom and Clover on the Target version. I also heard that Here on Mplsound is not on the Target version but i dont know if that is true.

Hmmmm, I hadn't heard of the "song before track 1" thing. I guess THAT would be a hidden song for sure!

I remember buying The Clash's "London Calling" on cassette because I wanted "Train in Vain". I didn't know what "Train in Vain"'s name was for sure, but I knew it had to be on that album.

I distinctly remember going through a tunnel as the last song on side B finished, and thinking, "What a ripoff! The one song I want isn't on this cassette! I'm going to throw this thing out the window!"

And then, sure enough - there was "Train in Vain". THAT was a secret song, LOL.

It's called a "pregap". Here's a Wikipedia article about it, featuring a list of albums with hidden tracks there.

I can't believe he's left Here and The Morning after off the CD releases.

He should have given the memembers an exclusive download of Turn Me Loose and maybe a couple of other tracks.

Here is a great pop song, the only down point with the releases is the way there are two different versions of the albums.

I'll never play MPLsound without Here, it would be like playing Sign without Strange Relationship.

Oh?
I am sure you are wrong.
Check out the Greazy Meal albums.
One of them has a track that *IS* hidden.

I want to know what the source of info is that "Here" is left off of MPLSoUND. This seems entirely odd, if true. The Morning After is being replaced by C&C on the Target CD so it's not like they're simply removing a track.

eeehrr..wrong!

Put the Skunk Anansie CD 'Stoosh' in your CDplayer, play the first track and as soon as it starts to play press rewind (fast backwards).. a hidden instrumental track appears..
Wha do you call that?
