i was just listening to this.argueably madonna's magnum opus..but what just kind of hit me is this.madonnas best album starts and ends with prince!its his guitar playing that opens and closes the lp.as well as in the opening and closing songs.

Do you like the duet "Love Song"? This song gets a mixed reaction from people.

Nice observation, and yeah, amazing guitar playing there!

He also played some guitar in "Keep It Together", which is a Sly & The Family Stone tribute.

I think "Love Song" is pretty weak, very disappointing when you consider what these artists produced separately during those years...

The album had its 20th anniversary last week.

I actually really like her voice on this album. It's gritty and raw in some spots. Haven't heard it like that since.

Her best album by far for me. There's a little bit of P hanging all over that one.
