Should Prince do two differente projects?

Should Prince do two differente projects Like George Clinton did with P-Funk and Mike Patton did with Mr. Bungle and Faith No More? Or is it a stupid idea?

So one project would be in the vein of TRC/LOTUS/Expectation to please the fans of "real drums for real drummers" and rock fans.

And the other one to please the fans of his eletro modern/retro/funk like MPLSOUND and 3121.

YEs or No?

I am in a win win situation because i loved the new albums, more songs that i love on MPLS and LOTUS than 3121/musicology/planet earth/news combined.

I think he should bring 2 bands on tour with him like John Mayer and do one set with each band.

Not every time, but yes. Every few years a double-album is a nice boost.

I'd actually like to see just more music, period. Doesn't have to be all at once - maybe every 6 months he releases a new album?

If he offers digital downloads of unreleased work (IF) - then I think we'll get more than our fill of Prince in 2009. cool

Yes, some like Lotus..some MPLSound. Some both. I think it makes sense to release a couple album with different styles at a time. P is diverse and us fans have different likes.
