I went earlier today and two older people (in their 60's maybe) were standing at the display and as I walked up and picked up my copies they asked if they thought they should buy it. They said their heard someone on the radio here (96.3 WHUR Howard University Radio) mention it. I described the albums for them and they said they were looking forward to hearing it. It was the first time I saw really old people into Prince. It kinda shocked me. Yes, us old folk (I'm 53) can still handle the jam! We just gotta be careful and not bust a hip while tryin' to bust a move.

I bought one copy of the set, and that was one too many. This was truly the first time that I began to think about what I could've done with my money instead of buying a Prince album. As a collection, this is pedestrian, at best. Thankfully - and I really do mean "thank you, Prince" - it was only $11.98. Had it been priced like Emancipation when it first came out, Paisley Park might be the target of music-loving pyromaniacs. Seriously.
The Bria album is an utter waste of time. Sade? Not close in this lifetime or any other. Damn. Such a disappointment.

I also am saving the Target weekly ad because there is some great Prince adds to clip and save and make a collage with

i bought 2. One to send to someone in the Netherlands and another in case someone else wants me to send it to them.
I don't really for Crimson and Clover so I since I joined the site, I don't care that it's not on what I already downloaded.

Where is this Target? It looks like the one in San Diego. And to see a line that size for this album is SAYING SOMETHING!

You know, it was really cool to see a real Prince display in Target. I haven't seen a Prince display since Emancipation. At my Target in Grand Prairie, TX, there was a display at the checkout counter complete with the floor graphic and the entire new release wall in electronics was completely stocked with Prince. Man, that felt sooo good. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Yeah, I felt the same way too. The TV wall in Electronics also had the Prince commercial in rotation. On top of that, the Target by me has had the 3121 shot of Prince on the wall (the Black Sweat look) since 3121 came out. They never took it down.

My mistake then....I was thinking when looking at the picture it was for the album but of course people could be in line for other things. I was just finding it hard to believe there was a line out there like that for the cd because I think only his hardcore fans who've stuck with him are buying it. "Why'd I waste my kisses on you baby?" R.I.P. Prince You've finally found your way back home. Well Done.
