I keep hearing about this group and after hearing a song I wanted to know if they are really worth getting into. Or is it hype? If anyone knows about this group I would really appreciate it.

Its hype dont bother. I have there 1st album and I never listen 2 it. Then again, we all ahve different tastes.

A Rush Of Blood To The Head is one of my very favourite albums of this year. It's much better than their first album but i think that's a good album also.

They have their similarities but Radiohead are more trippy.
Both great bands in my opinion. Coldplay are just starting to get their chemistry together. Pablo Honey was hardly a great debut and the same can be said for Coldplay's first album, but it's pleasant enough.

I bought Parachutes after hearing "Trouble." A few songs on there really hooked me...but I fear a lot of their stuff may just be downbeat noise...just a fear, not confirmed.

Im in the UK and the band have been big for ages. A lot of people really dig them but to me they're incredibly bland and their music just doesn't hold my attention. I must've seen the videos to the both singles from their latest album 100's of times but i couldn't hum you the tunes. That kinda sums them up for me.
