Clearing things up, about "boom", "Crimson and Clover" and "The Morning After" "Crimson and Clover" is only available on the Target CD; the Lotusflow3r.com digital download version replaced Crimson and Clover with "The Morning After". The CD version of Boom is 4:54 the download version is 3:19 and the last note of the download version of boom is the beginning of morning after. Boom sounds like it ends abrubtly if you burn it to CD with the 2 second space in between each track. Use the real player to burn to CD without the two second space. You don't have that option with Windows player. [Edited 3/26/09 6:35am]

How do you know this? | |

yeah i think this is an incredibly good album but i'm gonna wait and
put the target version in my prince playlist and just add that song "the morning after" as a bonus track to the end of it. the album will have a much better flow on the target version and the "crimson and clover" version, coupled with the longer "boom" are the original way it's meant to be anyway. still don't understand the reason behind this. an extra song at the end of the album would have been fine. but why mess with the flow of an entire album when you make 2 different versions? i'm old fashioned and i enjoy albums as a whole. can't wait till the next week and listen to the better version of the two. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I already know that CD version will my favourite against the download version.
"Crimson & Clover" is way better of "The Morning After" (in my opinion), and it fits really better in the sequence. Anyway, sometimes I think P is running out of gas. To release 2 different versions of the same album for me it seems a bad move to collect $77 from the joining and $11,98 (and many more, looking at prices all around the world) for the CD version.

Hopefully we can buy "Crimson and Clover" on iTunes.

i could do without the Morning After Pill

That's funny how tastes are different. "The morning after" is my favorite song from "Lotusflow3r" and I think his remake of "Crimson and clover" is awful. Joan Jett did a better version in my opinion, of course, no one's is as good as the original Tommy James version. Making love and music are the only things worth fighting for.

I dislike the song Crimson & Clover but love P's version. Morning After is nice to listen to, but a bit too cute.
It's $ that's the bomb. All you others say Hell Yea!!

Now for those who have heard ALL tracks and want to sequence everything, where would you put The Morning After? Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way.

At least he did this part of the marketing correct. So, even those who joined the site and have heard and burned the CDs by now will STILL have to get the official releases from Target in order to get everything he's offering. Still though, what an awful, all-sizzle-and-no-steak website!! Here's hoping he gets his shit together by the end of month 1...

It depends on what kind of computer you have. Macs call it the "trash" and PCs call it the "recycling bin."

The only reason I question that sequence is above statements saying Target version has Boom being longer and then sequencing straight into C&C. So I'm thinking where can that leave TMA? If one wants all songs to be present maybe after C&C? I dunno. Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way.

Haven't heard it yet.But I've heard people liken it to All The Midnights In The World which would explain the dislike for it around here. Fantasy is reality in the world today. Why do that when you can get a cheap 3CD? You don't want some proper storage medium? Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

I put C&C after Boom and then used iTunes to trim it's length to 3:48 so there is no few second gap between it and The Morning After. Works great - no flow ruining few seconds of silence.

so Boom is no different on the target release??
