There's just something seriously lacking from MPLSoUND and LOTuSFLOW3R. I'm hoping it will just all take a while to grow on me, but so far it's a little worse than I had anticipated. Sorry to be negative. Lord NO...I am not disappointed in the least!!!! Honestly, I have not been disappointed in ANY album...Now I have been disappointed on some tracks on some albums, and there were a few albums that I only found maybe 4 tracks total that I fell in love with....BUT, Lotus and MPL....Love them. Absolutely love them! -you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude!

He thinks that if he adds that sound to the song, it'll automatically make it funky. There's barely any variation of it!! He even added it to U R Gonna C Me, and it sounds awful. The Minneapolis Sound was about more than just that drum machine. It was about those grooving synts, walking bass lines, and MELODY!!!!! He should've put F.U.N.K. on here, as it was closest thing he's made to that "sound" in about damn near 20 years! I kept skipping tracks, hoping to find one that stood out, but most of it was mish mesh. There are a couple that are okay, but that's about it, and I can't even state which ones because they all pretty much run together.
Haven't fully listened to LotusFlow3r yet, save for the tracks already out and Dreamer, which sounded like a rip off of Voodoo Child. This entire project is just more confirmation for ME that he's not capable of writing good shit anymore and that he's permanently lost his mojo. Guess it happens to them all. Off to my boots..... Def. different strokes for different folks. I love this album version of Ur Gonna C Me. I love it. -you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude!

This statement is so tired. It invariably gets thrown around every album. The amount of times that came up over 3121. It made physically ill. Please let's not go down that path again. Typhoon... Let's be nice. Just because YOU do not think the same way others do does not mean you should ask that it not be said. -you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude!

I love it. actually come 2 think of it, this was probably my only real disappointment. it's such a beautiful song there's no question of that, but i prefer the ONA version with the piano cuz it seems more intimate & uncluttered, but still, sexy lyrics!

THAT AIN'T RIGHT NOOOO! i think he means it!
