The Ultimate LOTUSound album Instead of the 2 albums, it should've just been this:
From the Lotus. . . Boom Chocolate Box The Morning After U’re Gonna C Me Colonized Mind 77 Beverly Park Valentina Here Wall of Berlin Feel Good, Feel Better, Feel Wonderful Dance 4 Me Dreamer No More Candy 4 U . . . Back to the Lotus All the other tracks are wasteful and better served as B-Sides/outtakes. Ol' School Company is the pinnacle of that. All P has to do is throw a phat kick and snare and you all go crazy. Even the performance on Leno was weak (threw away his axe only to get it back???). the new Days o' Wild??? Puhleasse. It's just not a good track. I'm going to make my own comp. album and it'll look like this. $ and Better with Time should've stayed in the vault. The gems of both disks are: Boom Chocolate Box Valentina Wall of Berlin Dance 4 Me No More Candy 4 U Those alone demolish anything he's done in the past 10 years (from Rave to now). Anyway, this is only my silly opinion. What do I know? p.s. what's with all his references to wine over and over again? p.p.s. he should've eased up on that classic electro-snare from the 1999 days (you know the sound). He uses it in almost every MPLSound track. Cool but a little overdone. p.p.p.s. got the album without paying that ridiculous price just to SEE the site. I'll buy it eventually when it makes its way out of the US but until then... | |

i think it's definitely too early for ANYBODY to make a list like this. let the tracks grow on you! it's only been over a day since the album came out. hell, a lot of people on the org haven't even heard any of the albums yet!!!!

like hq you said, you can't get off until you make the house shake. don't need to be brainwashed like radio airplay to let a song grow on me. you all are so amusing praying desperately for P to make a great album. he delivered 3/4 of the way and for what he's been worth musically over the past 10 years, it's more than I expected. so why waste my time on weeds to grow. | |
