Any thoughts?

Here we are almost a day after the release and still no leak. Is this down to Prince's aggressive stance on all things 'internetty' or just plain luck or dare I say it lack of interest?

What xlr8r said. In the past I've probably d/l Planet Earth with the intention of later buying but...a bunch of us just shelled out $77 bucks for the entire experience. I would never upload any of these 3 albums to a torrent site etc. If you don't want to pay the $77, just wait til they come out at target.

It's not Prince being overprotective or w/e, I'd say it's moreso fans trying to help the cause. We realize how big these albums are, how much potential they have to be hits, and we need everyone to go out and pick up copies.

You can buy this CD ONLY at Target and you can go online to target.com and purchase it there.

Keep in mind that the version currently floating about has a track that the CD will not have. To get that track you have to fork out $77 US.

If that's not Prince creating incentive for people to DL this by other means, then I don't know what is.

Look at it from the perspective of those outside the US. For fans (who are willing to buy the album) to want all the album tracks is not too much to ask.

Now for Australians to do that 'officially' it would cost a grand total of approx $170+ AUD!!

there is no target in canada..so i will check out the on-line site..or ebay. Thanks for the info.

I found it too.. I will still buy the target version as well.. I think buying cd's is a dying practice.. I still remember the smell of emancipation after i opened the plastic on xmas morning the year it came out. and reading the liner notes.

Even after the shenanigans of the website and it's troubles with NOT BEING READY TO GO-LIVE AFTER ALL, I still can't be mad at the Purple One - I have heard a bit of some of the songs from both albums, and it's Prince like I haven't heard since The Rainbow Children on Lotus Flow3r, and it's Prince on MPLSound like I ain't heard in 4ever. He definitely is not out of inspiration or ideas, and these sounds prove it. Definitely will be forkin' over the bucks for it (but I always buy the album if I want to pay the artist.)

I found the leak.
It took a while but I found it!
I downloaded it because the albums wont be released here in New Zealand for months and I dont have the money to sign up to the site!
So yes.. I have got Lotusflow3r and MPLSoUND, I didnt bother with Elixir at this point.
