I just got a wonderfull present: the 3121 on 2 LP vinyl - promo.

It is so nice..

Do anyone know how much its worth ?

If I recall correctly, that one's a bootleg.

So's the "Musicology" double LP set.

Its says: Promo and it have the universal logo on it...

Doesn't mean anything.

Actually, I think the correct term for such items is "pirate copy." Not "bootleg."

Either way it's not official.

In what order did the singles from 3121 appear? Black Sweat first, then Fury, then Te Amo Corazon? Or what?

Sony did press PE and Musicology on vinyl. 3121 was also pressed by Universal. Now, all of them have a sticker on them and do not contain full artwork. Sony and Universal are notorious for doing this when they don't want to spend money on the packaging. I know they have done it for Erykah Badu promos and others.

This is a boot. Someone in Universal confirmed it to me.

So how about Musicology and Planet Earth? Boots, too?

The Musicology one is genuine... the other two are boots.

I recall one of the Paisley Park Admins on the NPG Music Club site saying that the "Musicology" LP was NOT legit.

Boris is spot on.

Musicology is legit, 3121 & PE aren't.

I got that from the horse's mouth.

yep. and because i thought it was a boot. oh the irony.

Universal Records told me it was a boot and Prince's own management team told me it was a boot - I think that pretty categorically says its a boot but I know some dissagree.
