Ok now that some of us have heard all the new tunes, how do we think he should play things out on Leno?

We have to take into consideration what kinds of songs would work well live and what would be listenable (and enjoyable) to a Leno-style audience and what will cause people to want to go buy the new CDs.

I don't think any of us will nail this because he will undoubtedly feel the need to do something off Elixir one night but for now I choose to live in a parallel universe where that is not a possibility

I think Dreamer has to be done at some point - maybe the final track on the final night...althought people will be a little confused at first thinking it is a Hendrix cover...and some of the lyrics are a little convtroversial I guess?
Still it would be a treat to everyone involved to see this song done live And he will sell a lots of CDs if the general public sees him rocking...


Feel Better...Feel Good...Feel Wonderful - this song has an infectious hook that people will be singing the next day - pretty important - and I can also see his performance to this being outstanding - lots of chances for some dance moves to get the crowd going

Old Skool Company - if he wants to get his "message" out there - this is the song to do it

Crimson & Clover - the crowd will recognize it...and hopefully love this new version...


Now that is what I think - what will he probably do? Crimson & Clover, Chocolate Box, Something from Elixir and probably either Dreamer or Feel Better...Feel Good...

So what do you guys think?

I really want to hear him do Dreamer. It's going to rock live.

Colonized Mind is ridiculas live. I hope he gets around 2 that one before the Leno gig is up. Ol Skool Company is pretty nasty live as well.

Yep - I thought of Colonized Mind as I like that one a lot too - I would be happy if he did that as well...I thought maybe a little preachy though so I opted for Dreamer - still both excellent songs!!
