Michael Jackson Made Prince I'm not an MJ fan, but you have to admit that MJ made R&B groovy again and w/o MJ there would have been no MLSound.
The best marketing gift that ever hit Prince was MJ's downfall. Before, it was just Prince vs MJ. In an ironic turn of events, Prince went from battling MJ to battling mysticism and went from battling censorship to endorsing censorship. I think MJ has a more realistic shot at a comeback after hearing those preview songs. LOL Crimson and Clover ouch.... [Edited 3/23/09 15:03pm]

No way - Prince is far too different than MJ - His music has more character. Prince and MJ are worlds apart. In the early 80's people either liked MJ or Prince - the conclusion was that MJ was for kids (Because he was and still acts like one) and Prince was there to entertain Adults. MJ would never take a risk & sing Head, Dirty Mind, Darling Nicky, S.M.F - MJ could and never will be able to pull this sort of stuff off! Prince is in his own domain. I hate it when people try & compare them.
