It was quite funny. I think it's from the last time he was on there, when he performed "The Ballad Of Dorothy Parker" and talked some about the sequel to "The Matrix" and how he'd asked L.F. to tell him the plot. When Laurence refused, he gave him nosebleed tickets for his show. That's what sparked the comment from Leno since he asked Prince if he was a keen pratical joker and than went into this story about Prince calling him that afternoon and pretending to be a carpenter who needed Jay's chair or to fix it or something.
