One fan on prince.org lays out the site's complete offerings:
the three albums, which are very nice.

artwork and lyrics for the albums, well just lyrics, artwork is non existing imo

a bunch of "exclusive" pictures which are ALL from the 21 nights book

a bunch of video's, some of which are nice and new (like 2 leno outtakes) but
most of which are just the same old promo vids we've all seen or live stuff
from the brits, superbowl halftime, a clip from coachella and the entire vid
of the sacrifice of victor (with japanese subtitles).

all in all it's not very much right now. there will probably be more at a
later date but this far it's quite disappointing to be honest.

no "exclusive, might never be available again after the first week" stuff
that was hinted at.

no pictures of old album artwork outtake pictures etc

no real artwork for the new albums

the vids are all streams. would be nice to have at least mp3 files of the
vids for superbowl etc. but no.

no retail section (yet)

actually, if you've downloaded the albums, this entire new galaxy is very
close to the real outer space: dark and empty

Why would we want to complain? Good lord...the site's been open just over 12 hours. And I'm sure the traffic was in.sane last night. Give it a chance!

I would say they are a small, but very vocal minority. Unfortunately they're getting the attention they want and potentially hurting membership for the new site.

Although I agree some of the peeps on here need to "get a life" the complaints I've seen are justified especially concerning no purchase confirmations. Are they really not sending those via email? At least give everyone that shelled out the $77 the courtesy of telling them where their money's going. The fact that someone said the CC info screen wasn't secure isn't a laughing matter, the next couple days should be telling.

Yes, some are legit concerns, but the way they are often handled (Prince is terrible to do this to me!) are not the most mature. It's a new site and ambitious. I'm going to give it a few days before passing judgment. The "Prince is evil and sucks" threads were popping up within minutes.
