AGAIN... Prince Was At His Best With..

WENDY & LISA.

There's just no comparison. The 1984-1988 magic ain't coming back without the three together. Yes EVEN "Sign O' The Times" was as good as it is because of Wendy And Lisa. They may not have played on most of it but their creative influence is unmistakable (and who knows how many of their ideas are truly part of SOTT)

Before you sycophants bloviate...yes, Prince was quite great without them. But WITH THEM he was genius and created music that still reverberates.

No one but the die-hardest of fans will ever care to hear most of what he's released since.

Yeah there's going to be some exceptions and some tone-deaf hip-hoppied "fams" are going to say they like his newer stuff better but COME ON....

Too bad Prince is such a controlling ego maniac (or was?). Everybody knows that if the three of them worked together again Prince would truly be back on track

Have you heard the new albums? Even during the WL era, 95% of the material was minus their input. I've heard their new stuff...yawn.

W & L are overrated by many around these parts. Sure they had an influence but we'd pretty much have got most of the albums without them. Would they have got anything close to what was released without Prince?
RIP sad

I would not say they are overated....but Prince was doing good sh*t before them and he's doing good sh*t after them.....so they just played a part in his development like the rest of the band members...Prince gives as well as takes ...he's an artist ....and they all copy ... that's how they learn.... biggrin

PE was ok simply stated. Prince's body of work during the Revolution time was strictly Prince. W&L are good, but that was all Prince in the glory days of the 80's.
