This is the first time in 23 years of being a hard core fan that I've got no excitement about these releases. Some of the tracks we’ve heard I loved, the others were pretty mediocre, usual blend now for P.

Pre album anticipation has been with me since ’86. I even managed to feel excited before the release of 3121, and even PE. But now, for the first time the excitement has gone

It's sad time for me, anyone else feel the same, and when (what year) did you loose that anticipatory joy?

My level of anticipation for new Prince releases seemed to wane dramatically after the one-two punch of 'Come' and 'Chaos and Disorder'. It tends to go up after discs I like - "The Gold Experience", "Emancipation", "3121". But it ends up just leading to another disappointment and lowered expectations for the next release.
Hope, however, springs eternal...

I'm excited...I cling to Princes voice...If it's all that I can do to read his heart.

The excitement is less for me, but with so much going on in the world and with so many being affected by the economy at least I can always count on Prince's music to make me feel better-thanks Prince
