Prince challenging Industry again? In a another post in refernce to some footage promoting the new project. I noticed something; the comment the newscaster made and I posted this. Didn't know if there was discussion on this, if so sorry..if not than have at it.

I think he just wants to get her heard and this is the best way to get it to all his fans. I doubt I'd buy it as a separate purchase, so there is one extra sale already.
I don't expect each album to chart individually, if they are even chart eligible at all. RIP  | |

Why wouldn't they be chart eligible? and yes I have to agree that, this is a good marketing tool to get her heard. This must be what was intended for Tamar's and the only difference I am seeing is this time no record company (Universal). hmmmm.....we might have to wait and see, I have this feelong there is more to this. | |

The truth lies with the sales numbers! Where do the greatest numbers reside...with the fammy fams that will buy anything he has to offer or with the discerning fans that expect VALUE and RESPECT for their hard earned dollars? It is almost an impulse buy -3 CD's for $12. Who can resist? Casual buyers will bet on it if they like Prince even a little.Smart move if you ask me! If even one song earns radio play, watch out! Wake up!......Wake up! | |

If they do chart, then I can only see it happening as a pack and not as single discs. It would be silly if they counted together, we'd have 3 number 45's on the chart in the first week of sales.
