Guess who covered Prince:P Went to a John Legend concert this evening in munich, germany and to my surprise it was better than I expected. What really caught me was when at a point in his song he started singing (with the melody and all)
"Until the end of time Ill be there 4 u U own my heart and mind I truly adore u If God one day stroke me blind Your beauty Id still see Love is 2 weak 2 define Just what u mean 2 me"(That really caught me and it took me a few seconds to actually realize it was P)and shortly after this began doing purple rain, specifically the part where prince at 5:17 starts doing that" Wooohooo whowhowho" where he hums the melody:P you know what i mean. Then he went back into the regular song and did a great outro of Adore. He is no prince and his falsettos don't get close to princes but he really did a great great job with those two:P Felt like a cool thing to share. Cheers! [Edited 3/17/09 15:21pm] | |

Yep and the weird thing today was all a prince day, First i notice lolita playing on Germany's next top model while skipping through channels. Then in the car on the way to Legend i hear Kiss is the theme song for the radio station and then before the concert starts there is some club mix of 1999 as a pre concert song where the people just talk and the lights are still on | |

Everywhere I went, there was Prince, in paper, on TV and on the radeo.wow all in a day
