RECENTLY UNRELEASED LEAKED TRACKS info

Here's some infomation on these tracks:

Quote:
The 7 samples come from a Promo cassette which contains 30 tracks.
I know that it does NOT contain full tracks. Most of the samples on the original tape are a bit longer than what's now circulating. The complete tape is about an hour in length, and on average, the samples are about 2 minutes long.
It was an in-house compilation tape to highlight songs that Prince was offering to other artists to record. The artist or record company could listen to the tape and request a track, then Prince would decide whether to allow that artist to record the song or not.

The 7 tracks:

Everybody Want What They Don't Got
Adonis & Bathsheba
Hard To Get
Go
Cosmic Day
Big House
Traffic Jam
"So strange that no one stayed at the end of the Parade..." - Wendy & Lisa's "Song About" on their 1987 self-titled album.

Thanks for the info. I have the song stubs, but didn't know the story. Interesting.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.
