So, I've put together a Prince-compilation, what do you guys think? 15 songs to play at home and in my car. This is what I look forward to listening to right now and I've made careful considerations about my selections and the sequencing of the songs.

I wanted to think hard and make sure I include the ones I really want to listen to right now. What I wanted to listen to a month ago is not the same as now. My reasoning behind the selections was to include some classics that I never grow tired of like Controversy and The Ballad Of Dorothy Parker. I wanted some songs that I really like but just haven't gotten around to listening to in a long time like I Love U In Me (should've been a top 10 hit) and And God Created Woman. I made sure to mix profound songs like When 2 R In Love with carnal songs like D.M.S.R. I think that's the Lovesexy way! I also wanted a party-ish up tempo start with three songs, to get the juices flowing, and then alter with two slower ones and then two faster ones. Finally, I wanted a calm, sophisticated ending, Reflection fit perfectly.  | |

Very nice...I've never done that before...I have many times put 5 Prince cd's in the shuffle, and let the player choose them for me...I like to not know what song I am going to hear next sometimes. "The Lion Sleeps Tonight... | |
