I love the way Sheila E & Wendy have free movement on the stage when they are performing with him. Outside of the dancers the band doesn't have in interraction with him that they do...

He said at one time, actually I read it in 2 different interviews that Bobby Z was one of his best friends.

What I realized is that Prince still had/has relationships with people we assume he doesn't talk to. Wendy & Lisa for a long time were in regular 'communication' with him. I don't think out of the blue back during the Musicology album he just aske Wendy 2 join him on the Tavis Smile Show.

I would have to say Larry Graham. Regardless of how you feel about Larry, Prince has let it be known Larry isn't a 'yes' man and, IMO honestly cares about Prince. Other than Larry, none of really know who Prince's friends are. We usually find out years later when he's married, much less friends with someone.
