Graffiti Bridge - The Song

My God!!
I'm listening to it now, for the first time it what seems like years, and it is making me laugh until my sides hurt.
What was he thinking???
Is this the most saccurine(sic?), sickly sweet, comic song ever written?
Ahh, ahhh, ahhh, ahh ahh,,,everybody wants to find Graffiti Bridge...everybody's looking for love...
Its so bad, I love it
How about you?

It sounds like it belongs in an elementary school play. That song shouldn't be played aloud unless it's in a small cafeterium with a small stage and the smell of mass-produced Jell-O coming from the kitchen area.

BTW, I really don't like that song, in case that wasn't clear.

even songs off batman weren't that bad!

so what happened? just 2-3 years previously he was putting pen 2 paper and writing diverse material that had never really been heard b4.

did he suddenly sit down 2 write and think 'hmmm i'm gonna listen 2 Seasame Street 4 inspiration'?

Some of the simplest lyrics are the most profound.

I think Graffite Bridge is lovely. Similar to The Ladder in sentiment, similar to My Computer in 'pure pop' melody.

Surely not!!
You must be having a laugh, surely...
Its truly awful, like a childs song, certainly one of the most absurd songs he's ever done.
I'd expect a defence from Natasha, but no-one else...
