How to dress in the Minneapolis scene ..... Prince your home town needs you back

Might say this article has nothing to do with music, but I disagree. Being a musician is not only about making music, but also about being a performer. As a performer, a certain look can just be as important as the music itself. In the seventies disco stars were draped in polyester and bell-bottom jeans. In the eighties there were hair bands and spandex. Our very own Prince was known not only for his hits but his eccentric style and his over usage of the color purple.

The Minneapolis local music scene has borrowed many of its styles and trends from other regions around the nation along with creating some of its own. I have created a list of the "must have" pieces to look the part of being in the Minneapolis scene.

.....oh boy have a look at the pictures.... lol lol

Cool article,

I love it when entertainers have a look
instead of everday wear

That's one of the things I've always enjoyed about UPTOWN
style & music are often reflections of each other

In music subcultures, there tends to be certain style of dress that accompanies it, Jazz, Hip Hop, Metal, Grunge Rock, Folk RnB
