no, this isn't the norwwegian tribute. this looks like a rehash of an older tribute compilation, with a couple of new tracks (or tracks from other tribute comps) tossed in.

Did anyone get their hands on that huge Norwegian collection before it was pulled?
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Is it decent? I liked much of the preview stuff that their website had. I'm kind of a dork for P covers.

it's better than any of the other prince tribute compilations i've heard. that said, there are more than a few clunkers on the collection, but with so much music to be had, that's pretty much to be expected. overall, i had a lot of fun digging through all the covers, which range through just about every musical style you can imagine. if i were prince, i'd have been beyond flattered by this project.

The 81-track Prince-tribute wasn´t pulled, and maybe you can even still get it here:
http://www.ccrecords.musi...p?id=34576

And furthermore I agree with Anxiety: it´s one of the best & divers Prince tribute compilations you can get (although, if you´re not really into covers, 81 tracks can be a bit overwhelming wink )

300.00 NOK = $43.6822 USD

Does that sound about right?
